Brazilian auto parts manufacturer located in the capital of São Paulo, facing quality issues in electricity supply (frequent voltage fluctuations and interruptions), and flooding in the internal underground distribution network, causing production stoppages. The solution was to transfer the underground network to overhead and elevate the voltage class to meet an average consumption of 3.65 MW.
Solution
- Migration to the ACL and long-term energy contracting;
- Management and representation at CCEE and Regulatory Bodies;
- Elevation of internal energy distribution cables;
- Design and implementation of a Substation and High Voltage Distribution Line;
- Elevation of voltage class;
- Project Payback: 18 months.
Reduction of downtimes (to less than 1% of historical incident s), with economic gains in energy expenses between 15% and 25% since the implementation of the solution.
